Besqab signs construction contract for 93 homes in the Tegelwik project on Södermalm
Besqab AB (publ) (“Besqab”) has signed a turnkey contract with Åke Sundvall Byggnads AB (“Åke Sundvall Byggnads”) for the construction of a new multi-family building with 93 apartments in the Tegelwik project, which is part of the new Persikan residential area on Södermalm. The project will have a strong focus on architecture and sustainability.
In December 2024, it was announced that Besqab had acquired the land for Tegelwik and that production was commenced. The sale of the apartments has begun, with great interest from the market. A turnkey contract for the building construction has now been signed with Åke Sundvall Byggnads, and the first move-in is expected to take place in 2027.

Persikan is a new district in eastern Södermalm in Stockholm. Besqab's project represents the final phase of a total of seven within the Persikan development area, which will include over 1,200 new homes along with shops and services.
